The Original Music Modern Jazz Series First instigated by saxophonist Tim Nunnink and bassist Doug Walker, the Original Music Modern Jazz Series has been set in motion to give many of San Diego’s creative jazz composers a place to showcase their unique repertoire. The OMMJ Series is hosted by Apropos, heard together a few Sundays a month as a quartet or quintet. Alternate Sundays will feature closely related artists within our community, including Nathan Hubbard, Ian Tordella, Nathan Jarrell, Gerard Nolan, Scott Kyle, Richard Thompson, Brett Sanders, Joshua White, David Borgo, Tim McMahon, Bob Weller, Jeff Denson.
