STICKY MACK – Larry Goldings

Pretty random pick in the grand scheme of things, but I’ve loved this Larry Goldings album “Awareness” for a long time, featuring Larry Grenadier and Paul Motian. They sure do a lot with this short 7-1/2 bar piece. It’s a very playful earworm of a tune that reminds me of a mixture of Bill Evans & Thelonious Monk.
